Just a couple more weeks before the kids head back to school. This summer has been a great one–and crazy busy! Having the opportunity to go to the CrossFit Games in California was amazing! Cheering for my brother in law, Greg Major, was such a great experience. And being related to the 11th fittest 55-59 year-old man in the world (AKA Greg) is SO cool! Although watching the main competition was amazing, I really enjoyed watching the Masters competition up close. The Masters competitors were so inspiring! Maybe it’s the age thing that helped me to better relate to them…
While in California, I met some really great people including George from Civilized Caveman Cooking, Johnny D from SPN/Paleo Wagon, and Lee from Paleo Treats, just to name a few. There was such a great vibe the whole weekend and it made me so happy to be a part of the awesome paleo and CrossFit community. It also proved, once again, the importance of maintaining a healthy balance of nutrition and activity. So here’s my contribution to the nutrition aspect of your health. Enjoy this week’s meals!
