Easter With Ease
With just a few days left until one of the most important Christian holidays of the year, I thought I’d share the foods that will be gracing our dinner table. Our holiday foods have evolved over time and now they rarely fluctuate from year to year.
Easter is a formal dinner at our house, with ham, roasted asparagus, cashew salad, fruit salad, mashed potatoes (a primal indulgence), and, of course, carrot cake! The quality of our ham has definitely gone up since we started the paleo lifestyle a couple of years ago. Now I make sure that it’s nitrate-free and contains no undecipherable additives. The potatoes may seem like a strange addition to this meal, but we only have them on holidays and they are my favorite! These recipes can either be made in advance or are very easy to prepare before your guests arrive so that you, too, can enjoy your day. I hope these dishes help to inspire your fuss-free paleo Easter menu. Have a happy, healthy, and blessed Easter!Curried Cashew, Grape, and Pear Salad
